Purcell Carson is a documentary filmmaker and editor based in New York City and New Jersey.  Her editing work has contributed to several award-winning projects including a 2011 Oscar and multiple editing awards.  She is the director of a community-engaged documentary exploration, The Trenton Project, which grows out of  her teaching in film and urban studies at Princeton University and forms the jumping off point for two feature documentaries about the city of Trenton.  She is a 2019 Fulbright scholar and a MacDowell Fellow.
